Adam Haskin joins AmpThink as Technology Architect

July 09, 2019

AmpThink is excited to announce that Adam Haskin has joined AmpThink as a Technology Architect focusing on venue solutions. Adam compliments the AmpThink engineering team that has delivered solutions in over 60 stadiums and arenas since 2011. Adam will have overall system design responsibility for AmpThink’s largest projects where AmpThink has been hired as the Master Technology Integrator (MTI) for new venue construction. Adam will be supported by a team of peer architects, field engineers, BIM/Drafting specialists, and manufacturing resources.

“With Adam joining the team, AmpThink adds to a team of design professionals with unmatched credentials in the sports and entertainment market. Adam’s design experience is complimentary to the rest of our team of architects including Wesley Terry – IP networking and high-density Wi-Fi and Robare Pruyn – packetized voice and video/IPTV” said Rick Cruz, AmpThink’s Engineering Manager. “Adam will immediately contribute to our efforts to become a leader in the use of building information modeling (BIM) and 3D design to develop and integrate networking into complex construction projects”.

Prior to joining AmpThink, Adam was an Associate at ME Engineers, a leading MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) engineering firm in the sports and entertainment market. Adam’s own experience includes participating in the design of over 19 stadiums and arenas. His experience includes Kyle Field (Texas A&M), Rogers Place (Edmonton Oilers), Target Center (Minnesota Timberwolves), and Dickies Arena (Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo); projects where he provided technical oversight of AmpThink’s implementation work on behalf of venue owners.

“AmpThink’s collaboration with Adam on prior projects was the driving force behind recruiting Adam” said Bill Anderson, AmpThink’s President. “Adam will help us continue to outpace our competitors in the sports and entertainment market by continuing to advance our focus on integrated design and delivery.”

Adam is based in Denver, is a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD), and holds a BSEE with a concentration in Computer Technology Systems. Adam currently serves as the Vice Chair for the RCSC Subcommittee for BICSI, the “global professional association supporting the advancement of the information and communications technology (ICT) community”.
